Few days before launching the iPhone 6, Samsung has unveiled today their new smartphone that suppose to compete with the iPhone 6, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.
since the Galaxy S2, the Korean giant has not changed the design so much, Samsung has been using the same cheap plastic every time, but this time, little changes was made on the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, the corners are now sharper, and the use of metallic design is appeared on the edges, but the back is still a plastic one with a similar design as the Galaxy S5.

The Galaxy Alpha is provided with a 4.7 inch screen, the same expected screen size of the iPhone 6, the Super AMOLED screen is not a full HD, it is just HD with a resolution of 1,280 x 720, and it contains a 12 MP camera instead of the 16 MP camera presented in the galaxy S5.
The Galaxy Alpha will keep some features of the Galaxy S5, like the download booster for combining Wi-Fi and LTE connections, the Ultra Power Saving Mode and the fingerprint sensor, it is powered by an octa-core processor, a quad 1.8GHz and a quad 1.3GHz, and it will run the latest android KitKat version 4.4.4.
Availability
The Galaxy Alpha will be available in September, in a variety of colors, black, white, gold, silver and blue for a price of $599.
