Few weeks ago, rumors made us heard that HTC is working on a new version of the HTC M8 with lower Specs than the latest one.
Now, the rumors are confirmed, a new less expensive version of the HTC is coming, and it is called the HTC M8 Ace Vogue Edition.
The photo unveiled and leaked from a Chinese website shows that the new M8 does not contain metal, it will be a plastic version, the design is still the same as the M8, with a 5 inch screen. Not a bad idea to reduce the price.
Specs
The specs of the HTC M8 Ace are a little similiar to the M8, a Snapdragon 801 processor with 2.5 Ghz, 2GB of RAM, a 2800 mAh battery and a super LCD 5 inches screen (1080p), the M8 Ace will run the Android KitKat 4.4.2 with the HTC layer Sense 6.0.
The other difference is that the HTC M8 Ace will not contain the DuoCamera sensor like in the M8, it will be provided with a simple 13 MP camera.
In a global view, the HTC M8 Ace is the same HTC M8 but without the metallic design and the DuoCamera, not bad if you always wanted to have an HTC
smartphone.
Availability
The HTC M8 Ace should be available first in the Chinese market in 3 June, for the rest of the world, no date is officialy communicated.
The price should be around $ 350, but we have to wait to know more about it.
