In the occasion of the Game24 event, NVIDIA has announced its new range of graphics cards, the GeForce GTX 980 and GTX 970 desktop GPUs. After their last product announcement of the 750 Ti, these are the new GeForce's specs

The GTX 980

The GTX 980 is provided with a CUDA 2048 cores and contains a basic frequency of 1126 MHz and 1216 MHz in "boost" mode, its embedded GDDR5 memory is now of 4 GB and it is
clocked at 7000 MHz, and finally, the GTX 980 contains three outputs which are the DL-DVI, a HDMI 2.0 and a Displayport 1.2.
Talking about the price, this new card will cost you between $549 and $609 depending on the version.

Zotac has announced three versions of this beast which are "Standard, AMP! OMEGA and AMP! EXTREME", the first version contains a custom PCB and a dual fan "Icestorm" cooling system to make the overclocking easier, the second one is provided with ExoArmor Carbon module integrated with the IceStorm.

The GTX 970

Now lets talk about the GTX 970, it is representing a mid range product based on Maxwell (like the GTX 980), it is provided with a CUDA 1664 cores and a frequency between 1050 and 1178 MHz, also a 4 GB GDDR5 memory clocked at 7000 MHz, like the GTX 980, the GTX 970 contains three outputs which are the DL-DVI, the HDMI 2.0 and the Displayport 1.2.

Zotac has also announced three versions of this beast which are "Standard, AMP! OMEGA and AMP! EXTREME". The GTX 970 will cost you from $329 up to $389 depending on the version.

Availability

These new beast will be on sale tomorrow morning from NVIDIA's usual hardware partners: EVGA, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI and PNY, among others.
