Samsung is officially unveiling a smartphone running Samsung's own OS "Tizen", the smartphone will carry the name "Samsung Z", this phone will be available first in Russia in the beginning of the fall 2014.
Specs
According to informations from Samsung, Samsung Z will be provided with a Super HD AMOLED 4.8" screen , having a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and a quad-core processor
clocked with a frequency of 2.3GHz, also a 2Go de RAM and a storage capacity of 16 GB, you can extend the storage with a MicroSD.
The camera will have the same resolution as the Galaxy S3 and S2, 8 MP in the back, and 2.1 MP for the front camera.
The Samsung Z will support all types of connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and the 4G network.
Tizen
Thise Phone will be running the version 2.2.1 of the Tizen, so, could Samsung let down the Android OS, or maybe it is just another line of development to Samsung so it can propose its own features and applications, that will be compatible with their own products, like the Galaxy Gear...
A Tizen Store will be available soon the present Apps related to this OS.
