Samsung has just unveiled a new tablet, calling it the Galaxy Tab S and coming in two models, the 8,4 inches and the 10.5 inches versions.
It looks like these new tablets are a direct competitors to the iPad, with almost the same specs (a higher specs by Samsung), Samsung is betting on the following Specs..

Specs


The Samsung Galaxy Tab S comes with a super AMOLED screen having a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 p (2,048 x 1,536 for the iPad), and a 8MP rear camera and a 2.1MP full HD front camera (1.2MP front, 5MP rear for the iPad).

The Galaxy Tab S is also lighter than the iPad, coming with differents weights depending of its versions, 0.64 pounds (Wi-Fi)/0.66 (LTE); 1.02 pounds (Wifi)/1.03 pounds(LTE).
The Samsung Tab is equipped with the latest processors, a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa-core (1.9GHz quad-core + 1.3GHz quad-core) or a quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 clocked to 2.3 GHz, and that's depending on regions. It will have a capacity of storage of 16 and 32GB extendable to 128 GB with a microSD. The battery can last for 11 hours in video, (10 hours for the iPad).
The Galaxy Tab S will run the latest android version, the KitKat 4.4.

Functionality


Samsung Galaxy Tab S comes with the functionality SideSync 3.0, which will give you the possibility to connect your tablet with the Galaxy S5, it is possible to answer a call or
an SMS, with this new feature, Samsung is also competing with the iOS 8.

Avaibility


The Galaxy Tab S will be available in July with a price of $399 for the 8.4 inches version, and $499 for the 10.5 inches version.
